Ho Chi Minh City has introduced a new double-decker bus tour for the Cho Lon area, enhancing the city's tourist attractions.
Operating Hours: 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM
Frequency: Every 30 minutes, 30 trips daily
Route: 20 kilometers through Districts 1, 5, and 6, starting from 23/9 Park bus station, Pham Ngu Lao Street, District 1
Duration: 120 minutes
The bus stops at key attractions, including Binh Tay Market in District 5, Nghia An Assembly Hall - Ong Pagoda, Tue Thanh Assembly Hall, Thien Hau Temple, Minh Huong Gia Thạnh Shrine, Nhi Phu Assembly Hall - Ong Bon Pagoda, Cha Tam Church, Cho Lon Mosque, and the ancient houses on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street. Passengers can also explore local markets such as Ben Thanh, Kim Bien, An Dong, Dong Khanh Mall, and Ho Thi Ky.
Tickets start at 200,000 VND and can be booked online, through travel agencies, or at the departure point. The tour aims to diversify Ho Chi Minh City's tourism and promote economic and social development in the Cho Lon area.
The service, provided by Anh Viet Hop on Hop off Vietnam, has been operating in the city since 2015. In December 2023, it introduced the "Sleepless Saigon" overnight tour, which covers 30 routes and nearly 20 landmarks, including popular nightlife spots like Bui Vien Street, Nguyen Hue Street, Ben Thanh Market, and Notre Dame Cathedral.
