Vietnam Airlines Launches First Direct Flights Between Vietnam and the Philippines

Vietnam Airlines has launched a new direct air route, becoming the first Vietnamese carrier to connect directly with the Philippines. The inaugural flight, VN648, took off from Ho Chi Minh City at 12:50 AM on June 17 and arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila at 4:20 AM the same day.

• Four flights on the HCMC-Manila route

• Three flights on the Hanoi-Manila route

Vietnam Airlines sees the Philippines as a promising market, aiming to serve tourists, business travelers, and the communities of Vietnamese and Filipinos residing in each other's countries.
