UNESCO Heritage Site and Birthplace of Vietnamese Culture

Hue ancient Vietnamese city situated on the banks of the Huong River, has been recognized as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. It is widely known as the birthplace of Vietnamese culture, having once served as the educational, cultural and political center under the Nguyen Dynasty.

The city is home to a collection of national treasure temples, pagodas, tombs, and monuments that draw millions of tourists each year. Hue also offers Lang Co and Thuan An beaches, and restorative hot springs like My An and Thanh Tan. A visit to Hue requires at least a couple of days.
