New express high way to Phan Thiet - Mui Ne

With the opening of the 99 km-long Dau Giay-Phan Thiet Expressway, the travel time between Ho Chi Minh City and Phan Thiet in south-east Vietnam will be drastically cut from five to two hours. The new link will connect to the existing HCMC-Dau Giay Expressway. Additionally, the Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet and Mai Son-National Highway 45 expressways are expected to open this weekend, adding 160 kilometers of highways to the network.

A long-planned North-South Expressway will eventually link Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City as well as beyond. With the new expressways in Mui Ne, resorts in Mui Ne will receive a huge boost, as they are normally reached by air due to the five-hour journey.
