The Tra Ly lotus pond, covering approximately 40 hectares, is located in Chanh Loc hamlet, Duy Son commune, Duy Xuyen district, about 30 kilometers from Hoi An city center. The lotus season here lasts from May to August, with the peak blooming period in June.
Tra Ly lotuses burst into deep pink hues when fully bloomed and typically blossom at sunrise. Tra Ly lotus pond is about 20 kilometers from My Son Sanctuary. After visiting and taking photos at the pond, tourists can explore two of Quang Nam's cultural heritages: My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An.
Each day, hundreds of visitors come to the pond to take photos and enjoy the scenery. The ideal time to view and photograph the Tra Ly lotus pond is from 6 to 9 a.m. when dew still clings to the flowers and leaves. There is no entrance fee for visitors; however, if you wish to pick flowers for photos or buy fresh lotus seeds as gifts, you need to contact the pond owner.
