Discover Ho Chi Minh City with Free Daily Walking Tours

Ho Chi Minh City has introduced the daily "Ho Chi Minh City Free Walking Tour," starting from July 22nd, offering complimentary tours for both domestic and international tourists.

Tour Details:

• Schedule: The tour runs daily from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

• Participants: Open to all domestic and international visitors interested in exploring the city's hidden gems on foot.

• Starting Point: Guides will welcome guests at 3-5 Nguyen Hue Street, District 1.

Tour Itinerary:

The walking tour covers several prominent attractions, including:

1. Nguyen Hue Walking Street

2. Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Head Office

3. City Opera House

4. Central Post Office

5. Reunification Palace

The tour concludes with a free lunch featuring a variety of local specialties at Ben Thanh Market.

Organizers and Objective:

BenThanh Tourist, the tour organizer, aims to offer visitors an enjoyable experience while helping them gain a deeper understanding of Ho Chi Minh City. The inaugural tour attracted 11 participants, including the guide.

Tour Feedback:

A representative from BenThanh Tourist mentioned, "The response from tourists has been overwhelmingly positive, and we expect the number of participants to increase in the coming days."

Weekend Walking Tours by Vietravel:

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City also had free walking tours organized by Vietravel on weekends (Friday to Sunday), starting at 4:00 PM and lasting 2-3 hours. These tours begin at either the Central Post Office or the War Remnants Museum, and are guided in English.

Weekend Tour Itineraries:

• Friday and Saturday: Central Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, Dong Khoi Street, City Opera House, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Head Office, Ben Thanh Market.

• Sunday: War Remnants Museum, Reunification Hall, Ho Chi Minh City Museum, Ben Thanh Market, Indian Temple, underground food court at 23/9 Park, Bui Vien Street.
