Construction of the 49-km Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway in the central region will finish in late May instead of September as scheduled.
The Nha Trang - Cam Lam Expressway Investment Company, Ltd.'s director said construction began in September 2021 amid Covid-19 outbreaks and rising building material prices. However, using modern technologies and having clear funding plans helped the company stay on schedule.
Over 95% of the four-lane expressway, which is expected to cost VND7.6 trillion (US$323.7 million), has been completed. It will run from Dien Khanh District in Khanh Hoa Province to Cam Thinh Tay Commune in the province’s Cam Ranh Town.
