The Alexandre Yersin Museum in Nha Trang preserves the belongings of Dr. Yersin, a renowned physician, biologist, and explorer. He discovered Lam Vien Highland and co-discovered the bacteria responsible for the bubonic plague. Yersin lived in Nha Trang and treated poor people for free. His tomb is preserved in Suoi Dau, and a statue of him is installed by Nha Trang Beach.
