Phu Quoc eyes 6-month visa waiver

Kien Giang province, home to Phu Quoc, has proposed extending visa-free stay from 30 days to six months.

Kien Giang Newspaper reported that the proposal would apply to foreigners entering Phu Quoc directly from international border gates within the territory of Vietnam or from Phu Quoc coastal economic zone.

As of now, only Phu Quoc offers visa-free entry to foreigners for 30 days.
