Trong Com, also known as the "Rice Drum," is a traditional bongo-shaped Vietnamese drum. Its unique name comes from the practice of applying hot rice mash to its surface for sound adjustment. Made from hollowed wood and wrapped in buffalo skin, Trong Com features a lattice of leather or rattan strings to fine-tune the sounds. It is widely used in ceremonial customs and the "Cheo" orchestra, delivering resonant, deep, and slightly opaque tones.

Cong Chieng, a Vietnamese gong made of copper alloy and occasionally adorned with gold, silver, or black copper, comes in various sizes ranging from 20 to 60cm in diameter, with the largest reaching 90 to 120cm. With great cultural significance to the Muong and ethnic groups in Tay Nguyen, Cong Chieng is primarily used for sacred rituals, including sacrifices, funerals, weddings, new year celebrations, rice festivals, and agricultural ceremonies. The Cong Chieng Tay Nguyen Culture Space was acknowledged by UNESCO as an exceptional masterpiece of oral tradition and intangible heritage on November 25, 2005.
